And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works...
Hebrews 10:24 KJV
God gives us ways to overcome many things but... also to provoke?
What are ways we can provoke?
A. Ask about one another’s prayer life
B. Determine how God created our unity
Consider the friendship origin and how God brought you together
Did the creativity that God gave each of you bring you together for the purpose of drawing others to Him?
Can your united effort bring God more fully into your life so that you see His hand and can provide even greater testimony? Can you arrange a women’s conference? Can you have a night of worship unplugged?
Did God bring you together to provide a servant role even more organization? Could your combined effort make light the work of feeding the community or teaching children?
C. Introduce this ministry to others: Where do you see the future of your ministry with a singular focus; your gifts? Did God want you to provoke someone to join you? Has He been working on your heart to do so and you worried it was not His voice?
If God has said “approach the person, I got you.” Do so. If that person says “no” they are not hearing God’s voice yet. Your words will play in their heart and urge then to action. And then they can provoke another to join your team, and so on and so on…
