It's ok to Chai

Updated: Mar 22

I chai a lot... I can't help it. The exotic flavors of this drink have my mind going on many a mental holiday while my hands hold the steamy mug and my nose gets quite a sensational treat. I know I am gushing, but those of us who live by the chai understand, can I get an Amen?

I served this amazing drink with crackers topped with homemade peanut butter with yes, you guessed it... chai latte mix.

Turmeric Chai Latte drink:

1 1/2 cup almond milk

2 tbsp your favorite chai tea latte drink mix (mine is pictured here, let me or Caroline know if you want more information on this drink mix)

1 mounding teaspoon turmeric

1 tsp collagen Sprinkle cardamom on top

Heat the almond milk, pour in a mug, stir in additional ingredients.

Take this drink to a new level with 2 tsp of this spicy addition...

Chai Seasoning Mix:

1/8 tsp Ginger, ground

1/8 tsp Cardamom, ground

1/8 tsp Anise Seed, ground

1/4 tsp Cinnamon

1/4 tsp Nutmeg

1/8 tsp Cloves, ground

1/4 tsp Black Pepper, fresh ground

Chai Peanut Butter

2 cups peanuts

3 tbsp olive oil

4 tbsp chai tea latte mix

Mix ingredients in food processor. Few minutes for chunky, five minutes for smooth.

Take this recipe to a new level by adding the above chai seasoning mix into your peanut butter mixture.
