Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.
Hebrews 10:23 NLT
We can do this. We can hold to God's hope.
Let us not waffle or waiver. Let us have faith in God's "promise."
Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.
Hebrews 10:24 NLT
It is the way that we can push each other towards love actions. We can see what can bring others to the hands of our father.. And we can serve them with "good works."
And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.
Hebrews 10:25 NLT
And the next suggestion: stay together with others who are able to encourage your faith. Worship together. Give time to gather so that you are prepared for His return.
“For in just a little while, the Coming One will come and not delay. And my righteous ones will live by faith. But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.”
Hebrews 10:37-38 NLT
The warning is clear. God will return. "The coming one will come and not delay." And God's "righteous ones" will be found living blameless lives. But the others will be noticed. They will experience judgement.
But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction. We are the faithful ones, whose souls will be saved.
Hebrews 10:39 NLT
But we are not "like those who turn away." We are right here with God. We will not find our "own destruction."
We are trustworthy. We will be saved. Our faith has made us undeniable servants. God is glorified!
