So do I love any type of salsa? Yes. And have I tried many different recipes for salsa? Yes.
But what has my heart lately? Salsa verde. Yep, the unusual color has taken over for me the definition of salsa.
So how do I then determine the best version? I ask my friends online….yeah, I do think of the Food Network folks as friends. No, I did not text them. But I did google and find this recipe. Oh my, love comes in green tortilla chip topping for sure!

For the purpose of doing it again and challenging my new blog skills, I am making the roasted version. You absolutely will love the mellow flavors and sweetness of the roasted tomatillos. Also. I add mint. And sometimes garlic.. also roasted. Oh and my onions, also roasted (don’t tell Food Network..or maybe tell them to adjust theirs!). How much? Here is a pic.
