John 3:17 NKJV... For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

For God did not send... For God did not send... He was providing us with the first Christmas gift. God used the best way that He could to help us form the best impression of Him that He could. Wrapping this total package in human design. Determining the place, parentage, ambiance, and story of His God-encased-baby-son.

God must have had moments in which He wondered, "Will they ever get it?" Did He sacrifice His Noble Son to a people who could only think of themselves? The wonders and signs created and ushered into the story of Jesus royalty, such as wine from water and raising of Lazarus, these were commonly told over shopping and water lifting from the well. "When will they believe?," He must have thought.

This baby determining the end of so many prophesies... So many passages recount the Savior's arrival such as the heralding of his birth by John the Baptist. John had a reputation all on his own. He had already preached and worshiped and baptized unbelievers. Did not these followers see the truth to John's claims?

God's gift of salvation was an extravagant gift that no one deserved. What were they thinking when they denied this gift? Such was the prophesy which enabled many more eyes to see following the crucifixion. A baby's birth ushered in the opportunity for so many to overcome the pain of separation from God. Now we can kneel at His feet with the realization that His forgiveness was delivered the day of our Savior's birth.
