Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2 KJV
Such a beautiful intro..."Beloved" which in writing could just be written "be loved." Right now we are able to see our spouses as our "beloved" easily. How about our peers at work?
How about our bosses? Our administrators?
As we attempt to see them as what God calls "beloved," we have a different light shone.
We have a different view. Our friendships and relationships are an easy way to share love of the Father. We have established our care for others. Our benchmark with them is our love; what a better gift that we can give them than a view of the Heavenly Father's love?
John writes that we be "prosperous in health." John adds also we should be soul prosperous. Because every good and perfect gift comes from our father in heaven. James 1:17
What do we lack? How does God see our need and answer? His will is that we find strength in Him. We prosper in what He finds important. Our spiritual bank far exceeds our earthly bank account in importance. When the God of the universe delights in your smile and waits for you to join Him in prayer..what else is needed?
